INTRODUCTION
Human Concern Foundation International (HCFI), is a Non-governmental organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. HCFI is devoted to providing relief to people encountering various forms of disaster and difficulty, striving to alleviate poverty, and suffering around the world regardless of color, race or religion. It specializes in, health and nutrition, education & training, water & sanitation, income generation for those in dire need

ANNUAL BREAKFAST MEETING
The annual breakfast meeting of HCFI took place on Sunday March 12, 2023 physically and those unable to come over attended virtually via Zoom platform. Meeting was presided by the Executive Director of HCFI, Prof Ibrahim Oreagba. The objective of the meeting was to review the planned programmes for the year and brainstorm on their successful implementation in line with the overall mission and vision of the foundation. Nineteenmembers were in attendance.
MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAMMES
MSSN ODI-OLOWU
HCFI in collaboration with the MSSN Odi-Olowo Central Branch at Ansar-ud-deen Central Mosque, Coker, Mushin organized a Pre-Ramadan Medical caravan on January 29th, 2023 at the Mosque Premises. The total number of 115 persons people were attended to and health education was also provided. Medical tests provided include blood pressure, hepatitis B and fasting blood sugar. The medical outreach come to an end at about 2:30pm
Meanwhile health talk by a food expert was held on food safety with over 190 people in attendance.
THE MUSLIM CONGRESS LAGOS STATE:
HCFI in collaboration with The Muslim Congressorganized a Medical caravan on Sunday March5, 2023 at the TMC Dawah Centre Ijesha Lagos. The total number of patients attended to was 786, while the number of medical personnel presented were 11. The health talk was delivered by Mr Uthman Alabion vital health tips . Patients were screened and treated for various health conditions. All drugs were provided free of charge. Sixty nine 69 (members) registered with the Ilera-EKO health insurance scheme Lagos State following a presentation by the representative.
Test carried out include: Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) or Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Full Blood Count (FBC), Temperature check and Blood Pressure
Total number of children dewormed was 550. Nose mask numbering 30 was donated by The White Cell Foundation. Thirty three people (33) donated blood with Ramadan package giving to them by Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service (LSBTS)
The collaborators for this outreach include: The White Cell Foundation, The Muslim Congress, Lagos State, Lagos State Blood Transfusion Service and Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA)
IGBOGBO BAYEKU COMMUNITY IKORODU
HCFI in collaboration with TMC Igbogbo Bayieku LGA organized a medical caravan on Saturday March12, 2023 at Ijede central mosque, premises Ikorodu, the total number of patients attended to was 420, while the number of medical personnel present were 16. The health talk was delivered by Mr Abdulhafees Olaiya on vital health tips, patients were screened and treated for various health conditions and all drugs were provided free of charge.Twenty eight (28) people donated blood.
Tests carried out include FBS /RBS 100 clients, urinalysis 100 clients, PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen.
In response to the urgent appeal for blood donation from LSBTS due to the tragic train accident along PWD/shogunle axis of Ikeja, a blood donation exercise took place at the TMC Dawah Centre, Ijesha Lagos with 52 donors recorded.

PRE-RAMADAN MEDICAL OUTREACHES
JEBBA MUSLIM COMMUNITY MOSQUE
HCFI in collaboration with Jebba Muslim Community , Ebute Metta Oyingbo organized apre-Ramadan medical caravan on Saturday March19, 2023 at Jebba mosque, premises Ebute Metta Oyingbo, the total number of patients attended to was 211, while the number of medical personnel present were 10. The health talk was delivered by Mr Isiaq Saba on importance of medical check up, patients were screened and treated for various health conditions, all drugs were provided free of charge.Twenty five (25) people donated blood and were given Ramadan packages courtesy of LSBTS. Test carried out include FBS /RBS 124 clients, urinalysis 100 clients, PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen). A total of 50 children were dewormed.

and the Jebba Muslim Community.
AL-MUMINAT IFAKO IJAYE
HCFI in collaboration with Adiyan Community , Ifako Ijaiye also organized apre-Ramadan medical caravan on Saturday March19, 2023 at Adiyan Community playing field, premises Ifako Ijaiye, the total number of patients attended to was 202, while the number of medical personnel presented were 8. Patients were screened and treated for various health conditions, all drugs were provided free of charge.
Test carried out include; FBS /RBS and blood pressure.

AL-HUDAH MUSLIM ORGANIZATIONS, LAGOS/FEEDING PROJECT
HCFI in collaboration with Al-Hudah Muslim Organization, Lagos organized apre-Ramadan medical caravan on Tuesday March21, 2023 at Folawiyo Central Mosque, Shitta roundabout, Surulere Lagos, the total number of patients attended to was 528, while the number of medical personnel present were 15, patients were screened and treated for various health conditions. all drugs were provided free of charge.Eighteen (18) people donated blood and were given Ramadan packages courtesy of LSBTS. Test carried out include: FBS/RBS 400 clients, All attendees were dewormed.
The feeding project took place alongside the medical outreach and 5kg bags of rice distributed to 1500 persons with other gifts.

WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION WITH NYSC MEMBERS
HCFI collaborated with Ikorodu National Youth Service Corps members to mark the World Health Day at Sabo Market Ile-Epo Ikorodu Lagos on Tuesday April 18, 2023A total number of 199 participants were in attendance. Patients were screened for blood sugar and blood pressure free of charge.The health talk was delivered by Dr Balqis Olaitan.
MSSN KOSOFE SISTERS SEMINAR
HCFI collaborated with MSSN kosofe Area council members to organize a health clinic during the annual sisters seminar at Ojota Central Mosque, Ojota Lagos on Saturday May 13, 2023A total number of 125 participants were in attendance. Patients were screened for blood sugar and blood pressure free of charge.The health talk on diabetes was delivered by an HCFI Medical volunteer. Five medical personnel were in attendance.
THE MUSLIM CONGRESS LAGOS STATE:
HCFI organized a free medical service in collaboration with TMC Lagos State on Sunday June 4, 2023 at the TMC Dawah Center Ijesha Lagos. Beneficiaries include :98 patients (females, 76 male, 22). Test carried out were RDT (malaria), RBS/FBS and blood pressure.
Health talk on Sickle cell was given by Dr Yusuf Adelabu, Clinical Hematologist /Oncologist Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH)
A total number of 8 HCFI volunteers were in attendance (7 health workers and 1 Medical Doctor)
2023 WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY
HCFI members attended the seminar Themed "GIVE BLOOD, GIVE PLASMA, SHARE LIFE, SHARE OFTEN: JOIN THE EFFORT TO SAVE LIVES"
to mark the World Blood donation day on Wednesday June 14, 2023.
The venue was at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium Alausa secretariat, Ikeja.
July mini medical outreach reports at tmc dawah center ijesha Lagos. Date: Sunday, july 30th 2023. Beneficiaries: 115 (female 80 ,male 35), test done : hepatitis B and hepatitis C screening and blood pressure.

WALK FOR LIFE COMMITTEE The HCFI/CGPI annual walk for life Committee was officially inaugurated on Sunday June 18, 2023. The event which shall be organized in collaboration with the congress guard department of the Muslim Congress shall take place in November 2023
EDUCATION SUPPORT
HCFI scholarship program has supported thirty one (42) indigent students since inception in the year 2018 to date. The initiative is being funded by some HCFI members in diaspora.

RETREAT ON HEALTH PROJECT
HCFI members participated in a retreat towards health institution projects August 5-6, 2023 at NIMR Hocal suites Yaba Prof Ibrahim Oreagba gave the welcome remarks and Dr Luqman Abdulraheem delivered the keynote speech. Other resource persons include Dr Miftah Oloko and Dr Musodiq Fadeyi
IMAN CONFERENCE 2023
Several HCFI Volunteers are scheduled to attend the National Scientific conference and Annual General Meeting of the Islamic Medical Organization of Nigeria Gombe State Nigeria September 4-9, 2023. Theme: Humanizing today’s Healthcare
